#8 Canadiens send #1 Capitals home early 2-1 in Game 7

After coming out winning 3 of the first 4 in the series, the Capitals lost their way. Montreal stormed back winning the next 3 games in stunning fashion. The Canadiens finished off the upset last night with a 2-1 win in Washington. This is the first time ever a #1 seed has lost a series to a #8 seed after holding a 3-1 series lead.
